TRI-VALLEY TRUTH CHURCH
About / Our Beliefs

Built on Biblical Truth.
Centered on Jesus.

As an Apostolic Pentecostal Church, our faith is rooted in Scripture, centered on Jesus Christ, and shaped by the apostolic message preached in the New Testament.

01 · THE BIBLE

The Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and our authority for salvation, doctrine, and Christian living.

2 Timothy 3:15–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21
02 · GOD

One God Revealed in Jesus Christ

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as Father; through His Son, in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit, by emanation. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man.

Deuteronomy 6:4 · Ephesians 4:4–6 · Colossians 2:9 · I Timothy 3:16
03 · SIN & GRACE

Everyone Needs Salvation

All humanity has sinned and needs the saving grace of God. Salvation is not earned by human goodness; it is made possible by grace through faith because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23–25 · Romans 6:23 · Ephesians 2:8–9
04 · CHRISTIAN LIFE

A Transformed Life

Following Jesus changes how we live. We are called to love God, love people, pursue holiness inwardly and outwardly, pray, worship, serve, and grow in Christ together.

Mark 12:29–31 · Romans 12:1–2 · 2 Corinthians 7:1 · Hebrews 12:14
The Gospel

Death. Burial. Resurrection.

At the center of our faith is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We respond to and obey that gospel through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. We believe the biblical initial sign of receiving the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

1 Corinthians 15:1–4 · Acts 2:4, 37–39 · Acts 8:12–17 · Acts 10:44–48 · Acts 19:1–6 · Romans 6:3–4
05 · THE SPIRIT

The Spirit Still Moves

We believe the supernatural work and gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the church today. We pray for healing, believe God still performs miracles, and expect His Spirit to work in the lives of people.

Acts 2:17–18 · 1 Corinthians 12:4–11 · James 5:14–16
06 · OUR HOPE

Jesus Is Coming Again

We believe Jesus Christ will return for His church. Scripture teaches a resurrection and final judgment, with eternal life for the redeemed. This hope calls us to live faithfully and share the gospel with others.

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 · Titus 2:13 · Revelation 20:11–15
